How many mock test papers are available?

There are 71 full mock papers: 12 Arithmetic, 23 Reasoning, 12 Reading, 12 Grammar and 12 Spelling. They are built to the shape of the 2024 papers, so Reading is three texts and Arithmetic has no multiple choice.

Are the timings the same as the real exam?

Yes. Each paper uses the real SATs timings — 30 minutes for Arithmetic, 40 minutes for each Reasoning paper, 60 minutes for Reading, 45 minutes for Grammar and 15 minutes for Spelling — so your child practises under exam conditions.

Can I retake mock tests?

Each paper is fixed: you get the same questions in the same order every time, so your scores can be compared. When you sit that kind of paper again you are given the one you have seen least recently.

Will I see which questions I got wrong?

Yes. After you hand a paper in it goes to the marker. You get your marks, what went well and one thing to practise, then every question with your answer and the correct answer. Written answers in Reading and GPS get feedback that gives credit, names the gap and suggests a next step.
